The (Diy) Painted Bathroom!
I can’t stop walking into our bathroom and admiring how cool it turned out using JUST paint!
It seriously blows my mind!
The best part is we spent under $120 including the faucet!

Crazy right?!?! We did have to replace the faucet because it wasn’t paintable….but trust me I would have if we could have!
So what all did we paint?!?!
The sink/countertops
Did you know you could paint counters?!
Talk about bang for your buck….best $15.00 I’ve ever spent! Plus we can have pretty much the entire can left! :)
I know the drain plug doesn’t match, we will be getting a new black one and fixing how the paint looks around it! If you know us…. the small things tend to take a while and I couldn’t wait that long to share!
Check out the blog post here for tips & tricks!
The walls
I would seriously like to know who thought adding tile 3/4 the wall up the wall was a good idea?!? It’s in both our bathrooms and it drives me crazy!!
Once we painted it white I seriously don’t even mind it! Dare I say I like it even?!?
The floors!
This is really what transformed the entire space! My husband kinda fought me on this one, but now we are both totally sold on the floors! I won’t’ lie though I tried something first and it was an epic fail. All I have to say is give yourself grace when it comes to stenciling and practice a tiny bit first!!!
The cabinets/walls
You can never go wrong with painting cabinets white! We used the same color on both the cabinets and walls because we already had a gallon of it! Win/Win
We used: Shiplap from magnolia home (at ace hardware)
